They spend years "gathering feedback" which they inevitably reject based on "according to our statistics." and in the time the community spent trying to fix one problem they create two ore (Instead of fixing the Ka-50 they added the Ka-52 and IR PARS 3 LR missiles).įinally they also profit immensely off of the imbalance. At this point they have killed off the helicopter player base so effectively that they probably have little to gain from actually fixing the game, its been years and most normal people have given up and moved on. They also genuinely just don't care about helicopter battles.
The amount of Ka-50s present means that they end up fighting each other a lot, which limits their K/D and other statistics so it probably doesn't look so bad from their extremely limited, one dimensional, statistical perspective. As we've become painfully aware recently, Gaijin only balances their game by staring at excel spreadsheets now. They clearly don't play their own game very often and when they do its not stock 8.3 helicopters. Well its a combination of ignorance, apathy, and greed. *Tunisia, Zhengzhou and Vietnam only, leave Afghanistan is it's not worth playing until you have something with MANPADS missiles and even then I'd still leave the game, sneaking around will also take a while in the Mi-4 I've tried encouraging some sort of change in the mode but apparently Gaijin is worried any drastic change would kill the mode, as if that would be some great loss. Sometimes you can sneak around the edge of the map and behind their Helicopter spawns to farm Artillery/AA/Medium Tanks *, J out when you're out of ammo, you could just J out and assist with Caps that spawn on top of your own Helipads as the activity bonus alone is worth it.
I've grinded 2 (and a half) heli trees and I can't say you're fundamentally doing anything wrong as the gamemode is just broken almost entirely because of the Ka-50/52s. Because some idiot thought adding the Vikhr missile was a good idea, an even better idea to sell them on a premium helicopter and a galaxy brained idea to match them with reserve tier helicopters.
